Vladimir
Vladimirovich Nabokov, also known as
Vladimir Sirin, was a Russian-American
novelist. Nabokov wrote his first nine
novels in Russian, then he did master
English prose stylist. He also had an
impact as a lepidopterist
and he did show a big interest in chess
problems. There isn’t a doubt that
Nabokov's Lolita (1955) made a
big impact in modern library as his
novel has been ranked fourth in the list
of the Modern Library 100 Best Novels
due its intricate wordplay and
descriptive detail that characterized
all his works. |
